When it comes to bargains and competitive prices, I have always found Comet to be great as a high street store. On-line, their website has a lot to offer too. On the Comet home page, you are welcomed with their recommended products and to the left of there are links to… Kitchen & Home – this contains products such as Laundry & Dishwashers, Fridges & Freezers, Cooking and Microwaves, Vacuum Cleaners and Small Appliances. Home Entertainment: - this contains products such as Televisions, Video & CD, Hi-Fi & Home Cinema. Portable Technology: - this contains products such as Gaming, Cameras & Camcorders, Portable Audio & MP3, Phones and Mobiles, Car Audio & GPS. Computing: - this contains products such as Desktops, Laptops, Printing, & PC Peripherals. Under the above links there is a link to Comet’s "Clearance Auctions" which contain products up for auction, some are brand new, end of line products, some with scratches or dents, some are refurbished, ex-display or returns. All are fully working and come with guarantee. In the auctions all sorts of products are on offer like TVs, videos, washing machines etc. The reason for the item being in the auction is shown together with the store price, current bid price and number of bidders, and the date/time of the end of the auction. There is also a link to “more info” that will take you to another page displaying the specs of each item. Seems like a good place to get bargains, if you don’t mind some minor scuffs and scrapes. Elsewhere on Comet’s site, you will find the FAQ page where information about delivery, frequently asked questions, after sales service, security and privacy, terms and condition and ways of contacting the company.
