I’ve been into photography and videography for many years and if someone was to ask me where I thought it best to shop for equipment, I would have to say Jessops both before and since I have had Internet access. I have truly found that dealing with this company has been great in every respect. If I were looking to buy brand new or second-hand equipment, I would nearly always find Jessops would stock high quality gear at great prices. Home Page. Jessops (on line) website is very easy to navigate with links down the left hand side to pages that contain cameras (film and digital), camcorders, camera phones, accessories like bags and cases, batteries, binoculars, dark room equipment, exposure meters, lenses, scanners, computers and equipment and lots more. On this page there are also links to current special offers. And there is one very useful function on the site that I’ve used several times, that is the option to add a product to a “compare list” so that you can compare similar equipment prices and facilities listed side by side to help you make a buying decision Briefly the site is laid out as follows… The Member Area. This is free to join and there’s no obligation to purchase anything. The member area allows you to access features to make your shopping experience that much easier – for instance when signed in you can call up your Order History which make is all the easier to re-order consumables that you get on a regular basis. Used Equipment. Here Jessops lists, by store location, the availability of any used equipment they have. Unfortunately, this is not yet available on line, so you have to select a store where you can then go and view, test and purchase second-hand equipment. You can also put checks against facilities such as film processing (24 hour), Used Equipment, Digital Printing, Refurbished Stock, Part Exchange, or Media Format Centre, to make your search a little more specific.
